Miracle Baby Prayer Blog

This blog has been created so that we can pray as a body of believers for the tiny miracles of this world. We ask that if you are praying for any of the babies listed here that you would leave a comment so their mommies and daddies can see you praying!

Rachel Knox

I am 17 1/2 weeks pregnant with our first baby. We found out yesterday that her little feet are clubbed. We are asking for prayer that God will heal her feet while she is still in the womb. We are also asking for prayer that nothing else is/will be wrong. We have to go back for another ultrasound in five weeks. How wonderful it would be to find out that her feet are growing perfectly normally and that everything else is all right. Thank you for your prayers.

  2. Rachel, my daughter found out at 17 weeks her sons feet were severely clubbed. It was good to be prepared at the birth. Check out her blog ourboycayden.blogspot.com or email at Dianalin@aol.com if you need to have someone who's been through it! Praying for you and my little grandson Cayden.

  3. I have never been on this blog but happened across it. Your request was the first one and its crazy because I have a little girl what was born with a Clubbed foot. We didn't find it on ultrasound until two days before we had her and had no time to process what it meant. I can tell you from first had experience that it is really easier to correct than I thought. We did 6 weeks of serial casting once a week and then had a brace that attaches to both feet until she turned 3. For the first 3 months she had to wear the brace 23 hours a day and that was the hard part after that it was just at night. She did have surgery at 18 months to extend her Achilles tendon but she was walking in her cast the same day.

My advise is to just enjoy your pregnancy and not worry about it. I know its hard to not worry when you think there's something wrong with your baby but its just crooked feet and they can be fixed pretty easily!

    Best of Luck with everything,
    Rebecca
